Jiangsu Sierbang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Shenghong Group. With a total investment of approximately 35 billion yuan and a workforce of over 5,000 employees, the company primarily focuses on the production of alcohol-based multi-product chemical feedstocks (DMTO). It aims to use this as a foundation to establish a new petrochemical industrial cluster and develop high-end petrochemical industries.

This project utilizes the CO₂-rich tail gas emitted from the upstream EO/EG units to construct a 70kt/a liquid CO₂ production facility, which serves as a feedstock for downstream EC/DMC chemical production. Our company is responsible for all professional design, procurement, and supply (E+P model) for this facility. It employs a patented process involving catalytic oxidation and multi-stage liquefaction and distillation purification to ensure the product complies with the “GB 1886.228-2016 National Food Safety Standard: Food Additives—Carbon Dioxide” and the “GB/T 23938-2021 Quality Standard for High-Purity Carbon Dioxide.” The facility commenced operations in March 2024, aligning with the national “Dual Carbon” policy and truly realizing the resource utilization of carbon dioxide.
